The Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM) has partnered with the African Cultural Festival (ACF2025) to host the African Diaspora Summit this September in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, USA.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the event which is supported by the Government of Pennsylvania and the Dauphin County Commissioners is expected to bring together global leaders, creatives, entrepreneurs, and policymakers under the theme “Africa to the World: Culture, Creativity, and Collaboration.”

Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa described the summit as a platform to harness Diaspora expertise, promote youth and women empowerment, and strengthen Africa’s creative economy as a driver of innovation and deeper global connections.
The three-day festival, scheduled for September 19 to 21, will feature cultural showcases, youth leadership forums, business networking, and a celebration of African creativity across fashion, art, music, film, technology, and cuisine.

NiDCOM will also spotlight Nigeria’s vibrant creative sector, building strategic partnerships that align with the country’s economic and cultural growth objectives.
The African Cultural Festival was officially launched on March 26, 2025, at the Capitol Rotunda in Harrisburg and will highlight nine Duduplugs: fashion, music, art, tech, film, dance, literature, food, and home.
