The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) are keen on making Chelsea star Ike Ugbo play for the Super Eagles following Tammy Abraham and Fikayo Tomori’s snub.
Nigeria were interested in making the Chelsea duo play for the West African nation where their parents hail from before England coach Garry Southgate called them up for the team’s Euro 2020 qualifiers this weekend.

However, the NFF are monitoring Ike Ugbo’s progress in Roda JC in the Netherlands’ second division where he is on loan at from Chelsea.
Some officials of the NFF were at Roda’s game last on Friday where Ugbo scored his fifth goal of the term in De Koempels 2-1 win at Telstar.
Ugbo has played for England at youth levels but is yet to make a competitive showing for Chelsea.
