The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control on on Friday disclosed that the country has recorded 160 new COVID-19 cases.
The agency made the disclosure in its daily situation report of COVID-19 on its official twitter page.
According to the agency, of the 160 new cases, 44 are confirmed in Plateau, 27 in Lagos, Katsina-18, Edo-15, FCT-14, Ondo-10, Oyo-9, Kwara-6, Abia-4, Nasarawa-4, Kano-3, Ekiti-2, Kaduna-2, Kebbi-1, Ogun-1.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria to 53,477, with 41,017 discharged and 1,011 deaths recorded.
