- The incident happened in Hayin Banki, Kaduna State
A 10-year-old boy went into the Kotoko Barracks which shares a boundary with the community to pluck mangos from a tree and was tortured to death by a Soldier at Hayin Banki, Kaduna North Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
Report has it that, the Soldier followed the boy back to the community and detained him in the barracks where he tortured him to death.
This incidence was confirmed by the traditional leader in the community, the Sardauna of Hayin Banki, Malam Ibrahim Hassan Wuyo, as he explained that the boy whose name was Muslim went into the Kotoko Barracks which shares a boundary with the Hayin Banki community to pluck mangos from a tree.
The Soldier angrily queried why the boy would come into the barracks and the little boy ran away and thus led the soldier to trace the boy back to the community, where he got him.
As gathered by EKO HOT BLOG , while he was torturing the boy, other colleagues warned him to let the boy go as he must have learnt his lessons but he refused as he watched the little boy groan to death.
The Sardauna said the Soldier allegedly put the body of the dead boy at Unguwan Kanawa community.
There have been serious reactions to this, as people ask if the boy’s offence was worth dying for and why not this Soldier exert their strength on the people terrorizing this country. While some said, the boy must have been hungry
