Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Festus Keyamo has raised his opinion concerning Labor Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi’s petition.
Peter Obi has since the February 25th polls stood a huge critic of the Nigerian election that confirmed Bola Tinubu as President-elect.
Speaking on his social media platform, Keyamo says “Nigerians will finally see the huge difference b/w calm, dispassionate adjudication of issues & all the hoopla caused by garrulous spokespersons shaking & falling on stage.”
EKO HOT BLOG reports that Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Festus Keyamo, has expressed excitement over the petition filed by Peter Obi of the Labour Party at the presidential election petition tribunal. Keyamo’s reaction was contained in a post on his verified Twitter handle on Wednesday.
Peter Obi had filed a suit on Tuesday at the election petition tribunal challenging the declaration of Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress, APC, as the president-elect.

Peter Obi wants the court to nullify the declaration of Tinubu as the winner of the February 25 presidential election on the grounds of non-adherence to the constitution and the electoral act, among others.
Reacting to the development, Keyamo said that he was excited about the issues raised in the election petitions. He expressed confidence that all the deceit, lies and disinformation about simple and clear issues would be busted in court.
Furthermore, Keyamo opined that whoever continued to argue after the court’s ruling should relocate to another planet.
He added that Nigerians would finally see the huge difference between calm, dispassionate adjudication of issues and the hoopla caused by garrulous spokespersons shaking and falling on stage, ignorant TV hosts turned debaters, misinformed documentaries, illiterate tweeps, and some dancing Hijabi mamas.
The petition filed by Obi has been generating reactions from different quarters, with many eager to see how the case plays out in court.
