NNPC Chief, Mele Kyari Loses 25-Year-Old Daughter, Fatima
Her funeral prayers, held at the Annur Mosque in Abuja, were attended by Vice President Kashim Shettima, along with friends and associates of the Kyari family.

In his condolence message, Vice President Shettima prayed for the peaceful repose of Fatima’s soul and asked God to grant Mele Kyari and his family the strength to endure the loss of their daughter.
A statement from Stanley Nkwocha, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Communications, Office of the Vice President, noted that Vice President Shettima also led mourners in the funeral prayers for Fatima.

The statement read, “Vice President Kashim Shettima has condoled with the family of NNPCL GCEO, Malam Mele Kyari, over the loss of his daughter, Fatima Kyari, aged 25. VP Shettima, who prayed for the peaceful repose of the late Fatima, asked God to grant the family strength to bear this painful loss. The Vice President led other mourners at the funeral prayers held at the Annur Mosque in Abuja.”
