Nollywood producer Afeez Owo has publicly accepted an apology from veteran actor Yemi Solade for a slap that occurred more than two decades ago on a movie set.
The reconciliation comes after Solade admitted to the altercation on the African A-List podcast, expressing deep regret for his actions, Eko Hot Blog reports.

According to Afeez Owo, the incident happened when he was working as a production manager. He had informed the cast and crew about plans to move locations, but a misunderstanding over food and a blackout caused a frustrated Solade to lash out.
Afeez Owo said he has wholeheartedly accepted the apology, referring to Solade as his senior brother. He explained that he would have moved on from the incident even without an apology, stating that it’s like a younger sibling forgiving an older one.
Owo stressed that he holds no lingering animosity toward the veteran actor and that the matter is now fully resolved.
