The Federal Commissioner representing Lagos State at the National Population Commission, Barr. Mrs. Saidat Olayinka Oladunjoye, on February 3, 2026, received the Chairman of the Commission, Dr. Aminu Yusuf, during his official working visit to the NPC Lagos State Office in Surulere.
During the visit, Dr. Yusuf reiterated his administration’s commitment to the welfare of staff as outlined in his 7-Point Agenda, revealing ongoing engagements with relevant federal agencies aimed at improving staff remuneration and providing access to affordable housing opportunities for National Population Commission staff across the country.
The NPC Chairman commended Barr. Mrs. Oladunjoye for the warm reception accorded him and his delegation, as well as her intellectual input and dedication to the work of the Commission.
He described her as one of the most outstanding Federal Commissioners and a worthy representative of Lagos State, noting her contributions to the Commission’s progress.
In her response, Barr. Mrs. Oladunjoye expressed appreciation to the Chairman and his team, describing Dr. Yusuf as a visionary and humble leader. She assured him of the Lagos State Office’s total support toward the successful implementation of his agenda.
The working visit also included an inspection of the Commission’s permanent Lagos State Office, which is currently undergoing remodeling. The visit ended with the presentation of gifts to the Chairman and members of his entourage.
