NPFL: MFM, Heartland, Lobi Console Sunshine Over The Death Of Staff
Nigeria Professional Football League sides, MFM Lagos, HeartLand and Lobi Stars have sent condolence messages to Sunshine stars over the demise of their long-serving cameraman, Tunbosun Alade.
According a statement by the Akure-based club on their Twitter handle, Alade died on Tuesday morning following a protracted illness and has been buried, EKO HOT BLOG gathered.
It was on this basis, three of their NPFL rivals expressed their condolences in separate statements on their respective Twitter handles, in response to Sunshine’s statement announcing the passing of the deceased.
“We are sad to announce the passing of our long-serving cameraman, Tubosun Alade. He died this morning following a protracted illness and has now been buried.Tubosun will be missed dearly!,”the club stated.

Their Lagos-based counterparts, MFM FC stated: “We sympathize with the entire team. May his soul rest in the bossom of the Lord. Please do accept our thoughts and condolences Sunshine FC Akure for your loss.”
The statement from Heartland read: “We all at Heartland FC commiserate with your club and family members of the deceased. R.I.P Tubosun Alade,”
Their opponents in 2020-2021 NPFL season match day 4 tie starting 4pm at Akure Township Stadium, Lobi Stars stated: “Dear Sunshine FC Akure, so sad to hear this. We send our deepest condolences to the club and his family. Our thoughts and prayers with you all.”
