Ondo Poll: APC Changes Venue Of Primary Election

Barely 12 hours to the Ondo state governorship primary election, the All Progressive Congress, APC has changed the venue of the election.

The indirect primary was to be held in the 18 council areas of the state until it was changed late today.

It was gathered that three designated centres would be used for accreditation of over 3000 delegates while the election would hold at the international event centre, the Dome in Akure.

Ekohotblog recalls that 11aspirant had earlier rejected the indirect mode for the primary election while Governor Romiti Akeredolu, who is also seeking second term was the only one who agreed to the decision of the party.

It also reported that Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello, who is also the committee chairman for the primary election noted that aspirant cannot dictate the mode of conducting elections to the party as there were laid down principles the party followed.
