Ondo Mourns Ajana Afa Of Okeagbe Dies At 80

The monarch of Oke-Agbe Community, Oba Oladunjoye Fajana, has passed away at the age of 80.

His peaceful, progressive and eventful reign is being mourned by the community, with tributes highlighting his fatherly and youth-driven nature.

The palace historian, Prince Foluso Arasanyin, confirmed the death and described him as a motivator who encouraged Nigerian youths to take the lead in rebuilding the country.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that the monarch of Oke-Agbe Community, the headquarters of Akoko North-West Local Government Area of Ondo State, Oba Oladunjoye Fajana, has joined his ancestors.
The late monarch reportedly passed on at the age of 80 years.

A traditional chief in the community, Otunba Solomon Oladunni, who confirmed the development described the monarch’s reign as peaceful, progressive and eventful for the ancient town.
When contacted, the palace historian,Prince Foluso Arasanyin, also confirmed the demise of the monarch.
He said, “Yes Afa-Okeagbe has just lost a great King, Kabiyesi Oladunjoye has joined his ancestors. Our hearts are heavy, laden with pains and grief at the announcement of the passing to glory of our highly revered monarch, Oba Oladunjoye Fajana, Ajana Afa of Okeagbe”,
