Nigerian international Victor Osimhen has reportedly accepted a record-breaking offer from Saudi Pro League giants Al-Hilal, bringing an end to weeks of intense speculation about his future.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that according to multiple reports, including Sky Sports and renowned transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, the 26-year-old Napoli striker has agreed to a four-year deal worth €30 million per year a total package valued at €195 million before taxes and bonuses.

Despite strong interest from European clubs such as Arsenal, Manchester United, Chelsea, and Turkish champions Galatasaray, it is Al-Hilal who appear to have won the race. Galatasaray, who had hoped to re-sign the striker after a successful loan stint, were priced out by Al-Hilal’s staggering financial offer.

Initially, Osimhen was said to have rejected Al-Hilal’s approach, holding out for a €40 million annual salary. However, fresh negotiations led to an agreement on €30 million per year a figure that still ranks him among the highest-paid players in global football.

Transfer talks between Napoli and Al-Hilal are still ongoing, with the two clubs reportedly €5 million apart in their valuation. Nonetheless, both camps remain optimistic that the deal will be concluded before the weekend.

In preparation for the move, Al-Hilal have arranged for Osimhen to undergo a medical in Paris. Top sports journalist Ben Jacobs confirmed on X that the club is pushing to finalize the transfer before the Club World Cup.

“Al-Hilal have booked a medical for Victor Osimhen and are hoping to finalise a deal with Napoli this weekend. Caution remains after 24 hours of twists, but Osimhen is Al-Hilal’s top priority,” Jacobs wrote.
