EKO HOT BLOG reports that Jandor, who officially resigned from the PDP on March 3, 2025, citing internal indiscipline and betrayal, formally rejoined the APC on Monday, March 17. His departure marks a return to the ruling party he left in 2021 to lead his Lagos4Lagos Movement into the PDP.
Reacting to his move, Lagos PDP Vice Chairman (Central), Hakeem Olalemi, accused Jandor of infiltrating the party with the intent of weakening it from within. He further described his time in the PDP as damaging rather than beneficial.
“He (Jandor) is a human being, and the Nigerian Constitution allows freedom of association. He is free to resign from any group or party and join any group he wants. We will miss his shenanigans, comedy, and cunningness,” Olalemi said in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).
According to Olalemi, Jandor caused “huge havoc” within the Lagos PDP and left the party in a weakened state. However, he assured party members and the public that PDP is now focused on rebuilding and repositioning itself ahead of the 2027 elections.

“We are assuring the public that we are going to pick up the party from where it is now and take it to its Eldorado come 2027 by the special grace of God,” he added.
He also blamed PDP national and state leaders for handing Jandor the 2023 governorship ticket, suggesting that the decision significantly weakened the party’s structure in Lagos.
Meanwhile, the Labour Party (LP) has ruled out any possibility of Jandor joining its ranks following his exit from the PDP. Sources within the party confirmed that the LP is not open to receiving him, further limiting his political options outside the APC.
