EKO HOT BLOG reports that former Governor of Anambra State and the presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the recently concluded February 25 presidential election, Peter Obi, has paid a visit to Jennifer Efedi, a victim of election violence in Lagos.
According to reports, Efedi was attacked by hoodlums during the presidential election in Lagos and sustained injuries. However, her determination to cast her vote despite her injuries earned her commendation from Nigerians.

Obi, who was accompanied by members of his campaign team, visited Efedi to sympathize with her and wish her a quick recovery.
Ndi Kato, one of the spokespersons for the Obi-Datti Presidential Campaign Council, announced the visit on her Twitter handle on Monday.
“A leader like no other. Peter Obi visited Mrs Jennifer Efedi who was attacked on the 25th of January while trying to cast her vote. This has really been a torturous season but we will get through it together,” Kato tweeted.
Peter Obi, who has been described by many as a compassionate and empathetic leader, has been vocal about his stance against election violence and has called on politicians to conduct themselves peacefully during elections.
