NNPC, Dangote Petrol Prices Slash: Marketers Brace For Price War
The Nigerian downstream petroleum sector is witnessing heightened competition as the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) and Dangote Refinery have both slashed the ex-depot price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), commonly known as petrol, to ₦899 per litre.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that this price reduction, confirmed by the Petroleum Products Retail Outlets Owners Association of Nigeria (PETROAN) on Saturday, represents a ₦141 or 13.56% decrease from the previous rate of ₦1,040 per litre in the Federal Capital Territory.
