More so, Attorney Larry was one of the members of the foundational chapter body of Eko Club International, with an untainted track record of diligence, commitment, loyalty and devotion to the cause of humanity through community engagement.
However, his passing came as a rude shock to all; while many were baffled by the sudden loss of such a great personality, some others were comforted by the undying legacy of progress and goodwill he left behind.
Speaking at the occasion, Otunba TJ Abass, whose birthday coincided with the fateful day, expressed his thoughts: “Celebrating my birthday on a day like this does not diminish our grief; rather, it affirms the gift of life, the bond of friendship, and the hope for tomorrow.”
“This moment is not about choosing between grief and celebration; it’s about embracing both with grace. We honour the memory of our friend while cherishing the blessing of life that continues.” He added.
“In remembering one who has departed, and in celebrating the life of one who is still on this journey, we witness the mystery of time: joy and sorrow often walk hand in hand.” He concluded.
