PHOTOS: Tinubu, Akpabio, Atiku, Other Politicians Attend Senator Goje’s Daughter’s Wedding

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, and Speaker of the House of Representatives Rt Hon Tajuddeen Abbas were among the dignitaries who attended the wedding fatiha of Senator Mohammed Danjuma Goje’s daughter in Abuja.

The wedding ceremony between Fauziyya Danjuma Goje and Aliyu Ahmed Abubakar took place at the National Mosque, Abuja, following the two raka’at Juma’at prayers.

Other prominent figures present included Deputy Senate President Senator Barau Jibrin, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, and APC National Chairman Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.

Top politicians from across Nigeria, spanning multiple political parties, attended the event, along with governors, senators, ministers, business moguls, and traditional and religious leaders.

Among the attendees were Governors Inuwa Yahaya (Gombe), Mai Mala Buni (Yobe), Dikko Radda (Katsina), and Uba Sani (Kaduna), as well as former Governors Sule Lamido (Jigawa), Nasiru El-Rufai (Kaduna), Ali Modu Sheriff (Borno), and former APC National Chairman Senator Abdullahi Adamu.

Key presidential aides, including Chief of Staff and former Speaker of the House Rt Hon Femi Gbajabiamila, and National Security Adviser Malam Nuhu Ribadu, were also in attendance.

Senator Goje, a founding member of the APC, former governor of Gombe State, and a ranking senator since 2011, was seen with President Tinubu during the ceremony.

According to a statement from Ismael Mudashir, Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the Deputy Senate President, “Excitement filled the air as President Tinubu and Atiku reunited at the event, with notable figures like Ganduje and Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed sharing in the moment.”
