According to the statement, the campaign will focus on engaging young people and vulnerable groups through sustained advocacy while working closely with schools, religious bodies, community leaders and other stakeholders to discourage criminal behaviour.
The police said the programme is intended to promote positive values, shield youths from criminal influences and strengthen collaboration between law enforcement agencies and communities in preventing crime before it occurs.
The Force noted that POCACOV remains a key strategy in its efforts to reduce youth involvement in cultism and other forms of criminality while fostering safer and more peaceful communities across the country.
