Police Confirms The Arrest Of A Kano Man Who Locked 30-Year-Old Son In Car Garage For 7 Years

Police in Lagos have arrested seven Ghanaians in Abule-Egba area of the state for alleged drug tracfficking.

Speaking on the arrest, the Lagos State Police spokesman, Bala Elkana, said the suspects were arrested on March 14 by policemen attached to Oke Odo Police Station, Lagos State Police Command.

Elkana said on that fateful day at about 10.30am, operatives from Oke Odo Police Station on routine patrol along Lagos/Abeokuta expressway intercepted seven young men at Super Bus stop, Abule-Egba, Lagos.

He said that upon questioning, they said that one Okechukwu ‘m’, who resides in Ghana, collected money from them and promised to take them to Libya but brought them to Nigeria and abandoned them at Super Bus stop.

“Three Ghanian international passports and some capsules suspected to be illicit drugs were recovered from them. Investigation is ongoing,” he added
