Obi was apprehended for operating an unregistered motorcycle. A subsequent search led to the discovery of a brownie pistol and 13 rounds of live ammunition concealed within an MP3 radio. The suspect was immediately taken into custody, and both the motorcycle and the recovered items were seized as evidence. Investigations into the case remain ongoing.
On the same day, a separate team from the Orile Iganmu Division detained four alleged traffic robbers. All four individuals are now in police custody, and further investigations are underway.
Earlier on February 5, 2025, the Ikoyi Division responded to reports of a violent dispute at Falomo Square, Ikoyi.
