Oyo State Police Command, on Friday confirmed the abduction of Jumoke Babalola-Oludele, a sister to one of the members of the State House of Assembly, Sunkammi Babalola.
Eko Hot Blog understands that Babalola is currently representing Egbeda State Constituency in the Assembly.
The victim was said to have been kidnapped on Monday at Monatan area of Ibadan while returning from her shop.
However, the Public Relations Officer of the State Police Command, Mr. Olugbenga Fadeyi in a statement made on Friday, said that a suspect has been arrested in connection with the abduction.

He added that the suspect was arrested after the anti-kidnapping squad of the Oyo Police Command swung into action.
According to him, interrogation is ongoing in order to get useful information that will lead the police.
The Police PRO also noted that the command is making more effort to ensure the release of the hostage and also to arrest the culprits.
