Eko Hot Blog reports that in a significant operation, the Osun State Police Command successfully intercepted a 33-year-old mechanic, Temitope Oke, accompanied by his 28-year-old girlfriend, Wuraola Julius, alongside their accomplices, Wasiu Hammed, 19, and Olamilekan Yusuf, 21.

The group was apprehended while en route to Kogi State, intending to sell vehicles belonging to several unsuspecting customers.
The arrest took place at Osunjela in Osun State, where the suspects were found in possession of four different vehicles slated for sale.
The recovered vehicles include a white 2014 Toyota Camry (LSR 935 JC Lagos), a red 2010 unregistered Toyota Camry, a 2005 gold-colored Honda Accord (FST 917 BF Lagos), and a 2010 black Toyota Camry.
According to DCP Hope Okafor, representing the Commissioner of Police, the arrests occurred around 1 am on Wednesday, February 7.
The suspects were allegedly driving the cars to Kogi State for a potential sale to an unidentified customer.
Further investigation is underway, with the police aiming to apprehend additional members of the syndicate.
The suspects, including Oke, are expected to face legal proceedings and be arraigned in court.
Oke, in his statement to journalists, admitted relocating to Osun after selling a customer’s vehicle in Kabba town, Kogi State. He claimed that his girlfriend was unaware of their intention to sell the vehicles during the journey.
“I am a vehicle gear-specialists. I was practicing in Kabba, kogi State before, I relocated to Osun after selling a customer’s car. I was driving to Kogi to sell the cars caught in our possession. My girlfriend did not know we were travelling to sell the cars, she was just going with us on the journey.
