A police constable, Dogara Akolo-Moses, attached to the Mada Station Division of the Nasarawa State Police Command, has reportedly taken his own life in Nasarawa Eggon Local Government Area.
EKO HOT BLOG gathered that the tragic incident, which occurred on Tuesday, has left both the police command and his colleagues in shock, as the reasons for his actions remain unknown.

Eyewitnesses stated that the officer had been performing his regular duties earlier in the day before retreating into a private room, where he ended his life.
A source, speaking anonymously to Daily Trust, described the moment when colleagues rushed to the scene after hearing a gunshot. “Those outside the apartment heard the gunshot, prompting them to rush inside, where they found the officer lying on the floor with his gun beside him,” the source said.
