This was disclosed in a press release signed by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, and made available to journalists in Awka.
Ikenga stated: “The Anambra State Police Command expresses its readiness to work with victims of abduction and kidnapping to take necessary action. This collaboration aims to deny criminals the space to operate, thereby creating a safer environment for citizens in the state.
“This commitment is in response to reports on social media about the release of two Reverend Sisters abducted along Ufuma Road in Orumba North Local Government Area and the video of Mr. Onyebuchi Okocha’s alleged escape from a criminal hideout.
“To this end, while the Command awaits the victims’ recovery for possible debriefing by investigating officers, we assure the public of enhanced security dominance and surveillance operations.
These efforts are targeted at deterring criminal activities and ensuring public safety,” Ikenga said
