According to eyewitness an alarm was first raised in the morning and another incident occurred in the evening of same day.
A trader in Kurudu Market affirmed that a full grown Fulani Man had suspected his genitals vanished immediately he shook hands with the unknown man while another also claimed the same happened to him.
On raising alarm, the genital thief returned the organ after he was caught but the alarm had brought together an angry crowd ready to lynch him before he got away.
In a timely intervention, the Kurudu Police Division came in and dispersed the crowd with tears gas causing panic in the area which led to the sudden closure of shops and some businesses for the day.
“It took the intervention of the police for that man to had escaped being lynched. To achieve that, the Police had to use teargas to dispersed crowd that had gathered to execute jungle justice on the man”, an eye witness explained.
The victim who insisted that he must confirm his genital was in perfect condition was led to a nearby brothel for checks where he allayed his suspicion.
He confirmed that the Police has taken custody of the accused alongside several other people that were picked by the Police for further investigations.
Lately, there has been a prevalence of this act in Abuja. Within the last week, it was reported in several areas around Karu, Maraba, Gwagwa, Lugbe and kubwa.
