Prince Tajudeen Olusi Lauds SAIL Innovation Lab’s Impact and Senator Abiru’s Leadership
Ekohotblog reports that Prince Tajudeen Oluyole Olusi, the apex leader of the Lagos Governance Advisory Council (GAC), visited the SAIL Innovation Lab in Ikorodu on Wednesday.
The lab, which has trained over 8,400 youths in digital and tech skills, was the focus of praise for its contributions to the community.
During the visit, Prince Olusi, escorted by prominent political leaders from Ikorodu and GAC members, praised the facility for its notable contribution to the region. He stated, “This facility is a landmark of hope for many in Lagos East Senatorial District.

Its role in skill development and job creation cannot be overstated.” He further emphasized, “The efforts here are transforming lives and boosting the local economy, and we commend everyone involved for their dedication and hard work.”
He praised Senator Mukhail Adetokunbo Abiru and his wife, Mrs. Feyisola Abiru, for their leadership and vision in founding the SAIL Innovation Lab, which is driving innovation and progress in the community.

Prince Olusi stated, “We need to increase collaboration to fully harness the potential of young people by enhancing their digital skills and fostering innovation.”
He also thanked President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, saying, “I appreciate President Tinubu for supporting Senator Abiru’s transition from the corporate sector to politics,” and praised the senator for his impactful service, stating, “Senator Abiru has made an impactful difference with his service.”
Senator Abiru emphasized the lab’s commitment to inspiring and upskilling youth, stating, “Our aim is to equip young people with skills that will empower them to make effective contributions to our society.”
Additional remarks came from Mrs. Folashade Ambrose-Medebem, Lagos State Honourable Commissioner for Commerce, Cooperatives, Trade, and Investment, who lauded the lab as “remarkable” and “innovative.”
Dr. Olasupo Olusi, Managing Director of the Bank of Industry, noted the importance of investing in digital skills for economic growth, calling the lab a “valuable asset to our nation.”
Senator Abiru expressed gratitude to Prince Olusi and other leaders, including APC apex leader His Excellency Prince Abiodun Ogunleye, Asiwaju Reuben Olorunfunmi Basorun, Senator Adeseye Ogunlewe, and Chief Impact Consultant Mr. Deji Abisola, for their support and encouragement.
