He said this on Wednesday during the distribution of 100 free General Certificate of Examination (GCE) forms to underprivileged students at the council secretariat in Ikorodu.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that Adesina also distributed marker boards, dusters, and writing markers to all 16 primary schools to enhance classroom learning and teaching.
“We present free GCE forms to secondary school students annually to improve education in our local government.
“This year, we’re introducing whiteboard markers in primary schools to replace traditional blackboards,” he explained.
Adesina urged students to take their studies seriously, excel in exams, and enable the council to support them in their higher education pursuits.
He also promised to establish computer units in all primary schools, providing teachers and pupils with modern computer skills before the end of his tenure.
Mr Shamsudeen Longe, GCE form coordinator, advised parents to enroll their children in extra lessons to boost their knowledge.
Oba Kabiru Shotobi, the traditional ruler of Ikorodu, represented by Chief Kayode Olomo, cautioned parents against registering their children in special centres that produced undefendable results in higher institutions.
Prince Rotimi Ogunleye, former Commissioner for Physical Planning in Lagos State, encouraged students to seize the opportunities presented.
He also appealed to philanthropists in Ikorodu to support education and youth empowerment.
Miss Onifade Mariam, speaking on behalf of the students, thanked the council boss and promised to make their parents proud by achieving good grades.
Notable attendees included All Progressives Congress party chieftains, Vice Chairman Mrs Folashade Oba, Iyaloja of Ikorodu Central Mrs Bukola Osho, and Council Manager Mr Saanu Shipe.
