Real Madrid’s team bus was involved in a motorway accident following their 2-0 defeat to Liverpool in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday, November 27.
The crash occurred on the M40 motorway, which links London, Oxford, and Birmingham, as reported by the Daily Mail. Video footage revealed the stationary bus appearing to have been struck by a lorry. Fortunately, no players or staff were on board at the time, as the bus was transporting team equipment.

Real Madrid unveiled an upgraded luxury team bus in October 2024. The vehicle features high-tech branding aligned with the recent £1.5 billion renovation of the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium.
The team’s defeat to Liverpool at Anfield saw goals from Alexis Mac Allister and Cody Gakpo, with Kylian Mbappé missing a penalty that drew criticism. Despite the loss, midfielder Jude Bellingham defended Mbappé, stating, “The penalty isn’t why we lost. Kylian is a fantastic player under immense pressure, and he’ll deliver many great moments for us.”
