EKO HOT BLOG reports that in a statement issued on Thursday, December 25, 2025, the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, described the report as a fabrication and urged Nigerians to disregard it.
Onanuga said there has been no change in the leadership structure of the President’s office, stressing that both officials remain in their respective positions.
“There is absolutely no truth to this story,” the presidential spokesman said. “The Chief of Staff remains in his position. The Principal Private Secretary likewise remains in his role.”

He emphasised the importance of responsible reporting, urging journalists and citizens alike to confirm facts before publishing or sharing information.

The Presidency reaffirmed its commitment to transparent and timely communication, assuring Nigerians that official updates regarding government activities would always be communicated through credible and authorised channels.
It also advised the public to rely solely on verified statements from official sources for accurate information about the President and his administration.
