Russian Attacks Injure 3, Damage Ukraine Infrastructure
A barrage of Russian drone and missile strikes swept across Ukraine overnight, leaving a trail of destruction and chaos in its wake.
At least three people were injured, buildings were damaged, and fires raged across the country, according to authorities.
The Ukrainian air force fought back, shooting down 38 out of 46 Russian-launched drones in a daring display of defense.
Despite this, Russia’s relentless assault continued, with two missiles also being used in the attack.
In the city of Cherkasy, two people were injured and several buildings damaged, including an infrastructure facility that was hit and caught fire.
Regional governor Ihor Taburets confirmed the attack and reported that the fire had been extinguished.

In the Kyiv region, air defenses engaged aerial targets, resulting in damage to a building and a fire in an open area.
Fortunately, no casualties or damage were reported in the capital city itself.
The southern region of Kherson was also targeted, with a kindergarten and cars in a parking lot damaged in the attack.
One person was injured in the drone strike, local authorities said.
Russia’s actions have resulted in the loss of thousands of civilian lives and injuries since the full-scale invasion began in February 2022.
Despite this, Russia continues to deny deliberately targeting civilians, a claim that rings hollow in the face of overwhelming evidence to the contrary.
