“Muscle problem in the left thigh for Samuel Chukwueze,” the publication wrote on X.
The severity of Chukwueze’s injury is still unclear, requiring further assessment to determine his recovery timeline.
However, according to OrthoInfo, a publication offering detailed insights into musculoskeletal issues.
The former Villarreal player could face several weeks on the sidelines.
“If you are injured, take the time needed to let the muscle heal before you return to sports.
“Wait until your muscle strength and flexibility return to pre-injury levels.
“This can take 10 days to 3 weeks for a mild strain, and up to 6 months for a severe strain, such as a hamstring strain,” the website wrote.
