Sanwo-Olu Felicitates with Muslims on Eid-el-Maulud
Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has joined in the felicitations, urging the Muslim faithful to emulate the teachings and deeds of the Holy Prophet.
In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Gboyega Akosile, Governor Sanwo-Olu congratulated Muslims in Lagos State and Nigeria, acknowledging the significance of Eid-el-Maulud.
He emphasized the importance of love, peace, unity, and tolerance in building a better society, transcending religious, ethnic, and political differences.

Governor Sanwo-Olu also encouraged Muslim Ummah to continue collaborating with other religious denominations for sustainable growth and development in Lagos State.
He expressed gratitude for the opportunity to celebrate another Eid-el-Maulud and reiterated the need for collective efforts towards peace in Lagos State and Nigeria.
“We thank God for the grace to celebrate another Eid-el-Maulud this year. On behalf of the Lagos State Government, I rejoice with millions of people around the world, particularly Muslim brothers and sisters in Lagos State and Nigeria, on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el-Maulud,” he said.
Governor Sanwo-Olu’s message emphasizes the importance of unity and collective efforts in building a harmonious society, highlighting the significance of Eid-el-Maulud as a celebration of peace, love, and tolerance.
