Sanwo-Olu Offers LASU Best Students ₦5m, Scholarship

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has announced a ₦5 million cash donation to the best graduating students at the ongoing 24th Convocation Ceremony of Lagos State University (LASU).

Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Gboyega Akosile, disclosed this in a tweet on Thursday.

According to Akosile, Governor Sanwo-Olu also approved scholarships for their further studies up to any level.

Eko Hot Blog gathers that the Governor attended the ceremony virtually from the State House in Marina as he could not attend physically after he tested positive to COVID-19 and has since been in self-isolation while being attended to by health professionals.
