Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Thursday paid a visit to President Bola Tinubu and First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu at the Presidential Villa in Abuja to personally thank them for their warm birthday wishes.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the visit followed a few days after the governor celebrated his 60th birthday, which attracted goodwill messages from leaders across Nigeria.

In a statement shared on X (formerly Twitter) after the meeting, Sanwo-Olu wrote, “I had the honour of visiting His Excellency, President Bola Tinubu and the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, to personally thank them for their kind and thoughtful birthday wishes.”
He noted that the occasion also gave him the chance to celebrate with his birthday mate and Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila.
“It was a pleasure to celebrate with my birthday mate, the Chief of Staff, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila,” he added.
Governor Sanwo-Olu also extended birthday greetings to Wale Tinubu, the Group Chief Executive Officer of Oando Plc, who turned 58 on the same day.

Earlier, President Tinubu had congratulated Sanwo-Olu on his 60th birthday, commending his dedication to the growth and development of Lagos.
In a statement released by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, the President described the governor as a committed public servant who remains faithful to the vision of transforming Lagos.
