Sanwo-Olu Reward LASU Best Graduating Students

Lagos State governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Friday, rewarded LASU best graduating Students with 5million naira cheque and automatic employment.

“Today, as part of our promise to reward academic excellence in Lagos State, I presented cheques of N5 million each to the best graduating students of the Undergraduate and Masters programmes of the Lagos State University. 

“The Governor went further stating that; At the start of this administration, improving education in the state was highlighted as one of my biggest priorities, and we demonstrated commitment by increasing budgetary allocation to the sector as we work on improving the quality of our curriculums & welfare of our students. Sanwo-Olu tweeted.

The Governor presented a cheque of N5 million to SHOTUNDE OLADIMEJI IDRIS, offered him automatic employment into the State’s public service. Mr. Sanwo-Olu also presented a cheque of N5m to the Best Master’s Degree student of the school, OLABANJO OLUSOLA AANU who finished his Master’s Degree in Computer Science with the Grade Point of 5.0.

The time has come for organizations and individuals to give substantial reward to those who do well academically. This will encourage our students & children to give attention to their studies.
