Prince Adesanmi Adewumi Ogunmolasuyi, a Senior Legislative Aide to former Senate President, Bukola Saraki has emerged the Olupenmen-elect of Upenmen community in Owo local government Area of Ondo state.
The 47 year old Mass Communication and Journalism graduate from the Nigeria Institute of Journalism, NIJ emerged the town’s new monarch after polling all the five available votes from the kingmakers to beat his only challenger, Prince Olawole Folarin who had no vote.
The election was supervised by Mr Segun Omojuwa, the Director of Local Government Administration in Owo local government.

Before being Saraki’s Aide between 2015 and 2019 he had held many political offices in Ondo state including leader of Owo local government legislative council between 1999 and 2002, and Special Assistant to Speaker, Ondo State House of Assembly between 2007 and 2009.
Prince Ogunmolasuyi, a member of the Nigeria Institute of Public Relations, NIPR is from the Ayiwoye Akinola ruling house and his name is expected to be forwarded to the state government for ratification.
His selection sparked jubilation in the town espcially among the youths who had throng the Olupenmen palace to witness the exercise.
Prince Ogunmolasuyi thanked the people for the confidence reposed in him and promised to take the town to greater heights.
The Olupenmen stool became vacant in August 2017 after the demise of Oba (Rtd Col.) Samuel Ademulegun
