During the 11th Omituntun Ramadan lecture held in Ibadan, Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde playfully addressed the audience, stating that his billboard in the Isale Alfa area should not be removed just yet.

While attending the lecture titled ‘Benefits of Being a Good Neighbour: An Islamic Perspective,’ delivered by Yunus Teliat, the grand chief Imam of Ogbomoland, Makinde expressed gratitude to Muslim leaders for their ongoing support and encouraged them to continue praying for his government.

“I’m not yet a lame duck. Please leave my billboard at Isale Alfa.
“In January 2026, we know that political activities will start. I will tell you the picture of the person that will be installed there,” Makinde said.
