Shan George Appointed As Chairperson Of Callywood

Ace Nollywood actress and singer, Shan George was recently  appointed by Governor Ben Ayade of  Cross River State to be the Chairman of the Callywood Board, a movie body in the state.

The actress cum producer who is of British and Nigerian origin, reacted by shedding tears of joy in an Instagram video,  saying the good news wasn’t expected and totally surprising.

She expressed her immense gratitude to the governor for such an honour, also thanking her people from Cross River for their support.

Shan George debuted in the movie Thorns of Rose, she had previously featured in a 1997 soap opera titled Winds of Destiny. She is best known for her role in the movies Outkast and Welcome to Nollywood.
