EKO HOT BLOG reports Darlington, who was arrested in November 2024 for allegedly cyberstalking Burna Boy and released on January 21, 2025, reflected on his experience in a recent Instagram video.
The singer had taunted Burna Boy over his links to US rapper Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, who is facing charges for sexual exploitation and human trafficking.

In his diss track “Baby Oil,” released in October 2024, Darlington accused Burna Boy of benefiting from an alleged sexual relationship with Diddy, suggesting it helped him win a Grammy for his album Twice As Tall.
Speaking about his time in detention, Darlington said, “Thank God, I’m still alive. I wasn’t hungry, I gained weight. I’m the only person I know who went to prison and gained weight. Prison is doable, especially when you have money. There’s a bed and three square meals.”

He continued, “I’m back and you can expect more ‘baby oil’ content from me. Marshal Abubakar, my lead counsel, told me not to mention anyone by name or discuss the court, but I can talk about the police.
So, if I say ‘long face,’ you know who I’m talking about. If you send me to Kuje prison, I’ll become a ruler.”
Darlington also made it clear that this wasn’t his first time behind bars, recalling a six-month stint in North America, where, he claimed, nothing had changed.
Meanwhile, Darlington’s lawyer, Stan Alieke, recently announced that he would no longer be representing the singer.
