Starlink Nigerian Price
Elon Musk’s SpaceX-owned satellite internet service, Starlink, has temporarily halted its recent price hikes for Nigerian users amid regulatory concerns raised by Nigeria’s telecom authorities.
Three weeks prior, Starlink announced a 97% price increase, raising the monthly subscription from N38,000 to N75,000 and boosting the installation kit price for new customers by 34%, from N440,000 to N590,000.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that these adjustments prompted significant backlash from Nigerian subscribers, many of whom found the new costs prohibitive.
Starlink, Nigeria’s third-largest internet service provider, currently serves around 24 million internet users in the country.
In an update to customers, Starlink assured those already billed at the higher rate that they would receive refunds or credits.
It also reminded users they could cancel their subscriptions if they no longer found the service affordable.
“Last month, we raised Starlink’s monthly service price in Nigeria to counter inflation and support continuous, reliable service,” Starlink stated.
“Today, we’re temporarily halting this increase to navigate the regulatory challenges we face.

“We remain committed to high-speed internet in Nigeria, but achieving necessary service improvements hinges on regulatory cooperation. Without it, our ability to continue service may be compromised.”
