Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle has released separate squads for the upcoming Unity Cup tournament in London and the international friendlies against Poland and Portugal scheduled for next month.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that the Nigeria Football Federation confirmed that captain Wilfred Ndidi, goalkeeper Francis Uzoho, defenders Bruno Onyemaechi and Igoh Ogbu, alongside forwards Moses Simon, Akor Adams and Terem Moffi, will lead Nigeria’s title defence at the Unity Cup.
The four-nation tournament will be held at Charlton Athletic Stadium between May 26 and May 30.
Nigeria will face Zimbabwe in the semi-final on May 26, with the winner advancing to the final against either Jamaica or India, who meet a day later at the same venue.
Chelle also handed maiden call-ups to goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo, defender Emmanuel Fernandez, midfielders Raphael Onyedika, Tochukwu Nnadi and Ebenezer Akinsanmiro, as well as striker Rafiu Durosinmi.
Several home-based players also made the squad, including goalkeeper Michael Atata and midfielders Aderemi Adeoye, Ayobami Junior and Tosin Oyedokun.
Attention will later shift to Europe, where the Super Eagles are scheduled to face Poland and Portugal in high-profile friendly matches.
Nigeria will take on Poland at the PGE Narodowy Stadium on June 3 before travelling to Leiria to face Portugal at the Estadio Dr Magalhães Pessoa on June 10.
The squad for the European friendlies features key stars including Victor Osimhen, Ademola Lookman, Paul Onuachu, Alex Iwobi, Calvin Bassey and Frank Onyeka.

The fixtures are expected to serve as key preparations for Nigeria ahead of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, where the Super Eagles have been drawn alongside Madagascar, Tanzania and Guinea-Bissau.
