EKO HOT BLOG reports that Ligue 1 side, OGC Nice have secured the services of Nigerian forward Terem Moffi in a record deal worth €30 million. After several bids were rejected by his current club Lorient, Nice finally reached an agreement for the highly sought-after player.
The 23-year-old Moffi, who joined Lorient from Belgian Pro League club KV Kortrijk for €8 million in October 2020, made a big impact in his debut season in France’s Ligue 1. He scored an impressive 12 goals in just 20 league appearances, catching the attention of several top clubs across Europe.
Despite interest from Olympique Marseille, Moffi expressed his desire to join Nice and was instrumental in securing the deal. The Riviera club offered €25 million for the Super Eagles forward, with an additional €5 million in add-ons.
