EKO HOT BLOG reports that suspected Fulani killer-herdsmen reportedly attack St Francis Catholic Church, in Owo Local Government Area of Ondo State and killed several people during church service.
It was gathered that over 90 Worshippers were reportedly killed as a result of the attack.
The video of the incident has since circulated online but it is too gory for us to share. However, scores of dead bodies could be seen lying in their own blood after being gunned down inside the church by the suspected terrorists.
An eyewitness Kehinde Ogunkorode, told newsmen that, the incident caused chaos in the vicinity, with residents fleeing for safety after being caught off guard.
Confirming the incident, the Police Public Relations Officer, Mrs Funmilayo Odunlami, said the command was yet to ascertain the cause of the incident.
“The Commissioner of Police is on his way to the scene to ascertain the cause of the incident. We have been hearing some many things about it but I will get back to you,” she said.
