The New NEMA DG Resumes Office
Air Vice-Marshal Muhammadu Muhammad (rtd.), who is recently appointed as the Director-General of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), has resumed duties at the headquarters of the agency in Abuja.

The agency directors were the ones that received him and later introduced to other personnel of the management.
The DG whose appointment took effect on the 30 April was approved by President Muhammad Buhari through the Secretary to the Government of Federation.
He was a Chief of Policy and Plans at the Nigerian Air Force before his retirement.
A holder of prestigious national and international flying licenses and recipient of distinguished military service honors, Muhammed also held other operational and strategic positions in the Air Force that included Air Secretary, Air Officer Commanding Tactical Air Command, Air Officer Commanding Logistics Command and Managing Director of Nigerian Air Force Investment.
AVM Muhammed has flown several aircraft types, which include Air Force One (B737 BBJ), Alpha Jet, Gulf Stream 550, Dassault Falcon 900, Citation Jet, L39 ZA and Bulldog 123. His decorations include General Service Star (GSS), Pass Staff College (PSC+), and Fellow Defence College, among others.
