EKO HOT BLOG reports that Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, the Founder and President of Loveworld Inc, has revealed that 42% of world languages are endangered. This was disclosed while explaining the challenges the church faced when translating its daily devotional, Rhapsody of Realities, into 7,858 languages, which is a result of a 22-year-old project.
In his statement, Oyakhilome stated that Rhapsody of Realities, a daily devotional that contains teachings and messages from the Bible, has a one-year and two-year Bible study plan to help readers read the Bible cover to cover in one calendar year.

He also mentioned that there was a version for children and teenagers, as well as one for the visually impaired, which is available in hundreds of languages, including Braille.
Oyakhilome added that Loveworld Inc would host ReachOut World Extravaganza on May 5 and 6, 2023, to celebrate the audacious move of the church in fulfilling Jesus’ mandate of spreading the gospel to every part of the world.
He emphasized the significance of this opportunity, noting that for the first time in history, the gospel of Jesus is being preached in all the world’s known languages through Rhapsody of Realities.
The pastor highlighted the challenges encountered during the translation project, including the fact that 42% of the world’s languages are endangered, and several were never recognised or documented before Rhapsody of Realities. Despite these challenges, the church was able to achieve the translation of the devotional into 7,858 languages.
