Tinubu, Atiku Meet In Abuja (Photos)
President Bola Tinubu and former Vice President Atiku Abubakar met in Abuja on Friday during the Jummah prayer at the National Mosque.
The meeting coincided with the wedding ceremony of Senator Danjuma Goje’s daughter, as confirmed by presidential spokesperson Bayo Onanuga.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that Onanuga described Atiku as an “old friend” of President Tinubu, adding, “President Tinubu meets old friend Atiku Abubakar at the National Mosque during the Jumat and wedding of Senator Goje’s daughter.”
Other notable attendees included APC National Chairman Abdullahi Ganduje, Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed, and former Borno State Governor Ali Modu Sheriff.
In related news, Defence Minister Badaru Abubakar announced that President Tinubu is committed to providing necessary resources to combat the growing insecurity in Nigeria.
During a visit to the 17 Brigade in Katsina, Abubakar directed troops to intensify efforts against banditry affecting the region.
Speaking to journalists at Gurbin Baure, in Katsina’s Jibia Local Government Area, the minister assessed the ongoing military operations, expressing President Tinubu’s satisfaction with recent progress in the fight against banditry.
