BREAKING: Tinubu Arrives In France For State Visit

 

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has arrived in Paris, France, for a three-day official visit at the invitation of French President Emmanuel Macron.

Tinubu, accompanied by First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu, landed at Orly Airport around 5:10 p.m. on Wednesday. His arrival was marked by a ceremonial military reception, signifying the commencement of the visit.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, confirmed the arrival in a statement, saying, “President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s plane touched down in Paris at 5:10 PM.

After landing, it taxied to the designated area where the President will be honored with a military reception, marking the start of the state visit.”

The visit aims to deepen political, economic, and cultural ties between Nigeria and France while exploring partnerships in critical areas such as agriculture, security, education, health, youth engagement, employment, innovation, and energy transition.

During the visit, President Macron is expected to host Tinubu and the First Lady at a state dinner, further cementing the cordial relations between the two nations.
