The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, has said he is learning politics from President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, whom he described as one of Nigeria’s best political leaders.
Eko Hot Blog reports that Yilwatda made the remark on Saturday shortly after he was conferred with the traditional title of Kaeh-rit, meaning “the good seed of Ampang East,” in Plateau State.

According to the APC chairman, President Tinubu remains the best person to learn from in Nigerian politics, noting that his personal growth within the party has been shaped by the President’s mentorship.
“I’m learning from the best leader, Asiwaju Tinubu,” Yilwatda said. “Mr President is one of the best politicians you can learn from, and since adopting me as his son, I’ve learned so much from him.
“He is teaching me, and so I’m learning. If you see me succeeding, it’s because I’m learning from the very best politician ever produced in Nigeria,” he added.

Yilwatda said he aspires to replicate Tinubu’s political achievements and contribute meaningfully to the development of the country through effective leadership.
The APC national chairman also expressed optimism that the recent defection of Plateau State Governor, Caleb Mutfwang, to the APC would yield positive outcomes for the state.
He further reaffirmed the party’s commitment to inclusiveness, stressing that all APC members enjoy equal rights regardless of background or status within the party.
This is the second traditional title conferred on Yilwatda within two weeks. Recently, the Tiv Nation in Benue State also honoured him with a traditional title in recognition of his humanitarian services.
