PHOTOS: Tinubu Lands In Abu Dhabi, UAE For ADSW 2025

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has arrived in Abu Dhabi to attend the 2025 Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW), scheduled to take place from January 12 to 18 in the United Arab Emirates.
Upon his arrival, Tinubu was welcomed by Sheikh Shakhboot Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, UAE.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that ADSW 2025, themed “The Nexus of Next: Supercharging Sustainable Progress”, serves as a global platform dedicated to advancing sustainable development and fostering international collaboration.
The event will convene policymakers, business leaders, and civil society representatives to discuss innovative strategies for accelerating the transition to a sustainable economy while promoting socioeconomic growth.
During the summit, President Tinubu is expected to highlight his administration’s achievements and ongoing reforms aimed at advancing energy sufficiency, modernizing transportation, improving public health, and fostering economic development in Nigeria.
The President, alongside his delegation, will also engage in bilateral discussions with UAE leaders to explore opportunities for strengthening relations and addressing shared interests.
This visit follows a landmark engagement in September 2023 when both nations finalized an agreement that ended the visa ban on Nigerian travelers.
Accompanying the President to the summit are the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Yusuf Tuggar, and other senior government officials.
