APC national leader and the former Governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (a.k.a. Jargaban of Lagos) was on Saturday 28th, honoured by the Arewa Group to chair this year 2021’s Annual Memorial Lecture, which was held in Kaduna, Kaduna State.
Tinubu who spoke on many things during the special meeting said, it was an honour for him to chair such occasion as that, and that, for him to stand in a hallowed place where Sir Ahmadu Bello, the Sardauna of Sokoto, who was the then Northern premier lived, was an opportunity for him.
Tinubu promised to renovate the Kashim Ibrahim Library of the Ahmadu Bello University. This is coming days after he reportedly donated funds to Katsina State following the fire outbreak at its main market, EKO HOT BLOG gathered.
However, at the meeting, there was a bit of worry by a few observers after Jagaban missed a step and stumbled while on the move; thanks to the quick response from the security operatives behind who were able to rescue the Ex-governor, thereby helping him to regain his balance as he staggered.
